Install Conditions

Before we can install treatments on your windows, we need certain things in place. Depending on the window treatment and style, the requirements will vary. Read here to discover the conditions needed for us to come in and install window treatments.

Installing Drapes

  1. Windows: Frames and glass installed complete

  2. Ceilings/Walls: All blocking, paint and texture finished and complete

  3. Finishes that impact treatment (cornices, millwork, pockets, etc.): Finished and complete

    Depending on type of treatment:

    (A) TO FLOOR TREATMENTS

    Flooring: All flooring (including baseboard and trim) installed in finished condition

    (B) TO SILL TREATMENTS

    Sills: All sills/benches/PTAC conditions finished and complete


Installing Shades

  1. Windows: Frames and glass installed complete

  2. Sills: All sills/benches/PTAC conditions finished and complete

  3. Ceilings/Walls/Jambs: All blocking, paint and texture finished and complete

  4. Finishes that impact treatment (cornices, millwork, pockets, etc.): Finished and complete


Installing Motorized Treatments

Plug-N-Play

  1. Outlets installed in place and powered (hot) ready to accept motor plug

Hardwired

  1. Jbox installed in place with lead attached to building power (hot) ready to accept motor whip
