Outside Mount
When a roller shade is mounted on the wall or ceiling above the window, extending outside the window opening.
Inside Mount
When a roller shade is mounted inside the window opening.
Standard Roll
The orientation of the shade fabric to roll off the back of the tube (towards the window).
Reverse Roll
The orientation of the shade fabric to roll off the front of the tube (towards the room).
Dual Shades
When two roller shades are mounted via one bracket at a window.
Coupled Shades
When two roller shades are mounted with an intermediate bracket and single clutch or motor per window.
